Brazilian : Basic scrap metal prices

Brazilian pig iron is cold iron cast into ingots, originating in Brazil and sold as ferrous feedstock, featuring 3.5-4.5 percent carbon, less than 1.5 percent silicon, 0.5-1.0 percent manganese, less than 0.05 percent sulfur and less than 0.12 percent phosphorus. Scrap Price Bulletin lists a high and low price for basic Brazilian pig iron with 2.25-2.50 percent silicon.
Scrap Price Bulletin assessed the prices of sales reported by traders, brokers and users in U.S. dollars in metric tons (2,204.62 pounds) for material loaded on barge FOB New Orleans. Prices are those effective on the date of publication for future delivery.
