Elec. furnace bundles scrap metal prices

Black steel scraps are highly practical due to their strength and high resistance to rust and corrosion, as well as to insects, rot and fire. Black carbon steel gets its color and resistance to depreciation due to an iron oxide coating that occurs due to high temperatures during the manufacturing process. Black steel can be used in many applications including water, steam, air and gas service, which make this product versatile and widely used. Most often, these scrap bundles are charged and melted using an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF).  They are first charged and then melted with electrode power. Electric furnace bundles, seemingly similar to No. 1 dealer bundles, differ by the size and weight allotment being specified by the user and the melt method using an EAF.
Electric furnace bundles are new black steel sheet scrap hydraulically compressed into bundles of size and weight, as specified by the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.
